Trinidad State Junior College’s Pioneer Room (for groups of up to 140) in the Sullivan Student Center, the Leone Lounge (accommodates 92), and the 200-seat Massari Theater offer excellent venues for conferences and musical events. As well as a large outdoor grandstand and arena, the Las Animas County Fairgrounds has an indoor meeting room accommodating 65-70 and picnic areas for birthdays and other festive occasions. The indoor Expo Center’s bleachers accommodate 350; the Expo Center also has an arena and a concrete area for trade shows and western events. Next to Trinidad’s public library, the Sebastiani Gym accommodates 400-450 for receptions and parties. If the bleachers are used, capacity increases to about 1500. The gym has a stage.
