The Trinidad Art League (TAL) operates the co-op Corazon Gallery at 149 E. Main. The gallery offers shows throughout the year. 719-846-0207. See Events.
The Trinidad Arts and Cultural Advisory Commission (TACAC) is a City of Trinidad commission dedicated to enhancing and promoting all aspects of Trinidad’s arts community including literature, music, theatre, and the functional and fine arts. The commission funds performances, awards grants to community projects in the arts, and undertakes the acquisition of public sculptures. For information, contact the City of Trinidad, 719-846-9843.
The Trinidad Area Arts Council (TAAC) cooperates with other local groups to create, sponsor, promote, and stage cultural activities in all the arts—visual, performing, and literary.
TAAC also operates the First Street Gallery on Main. The gallery has a new location at 130 E. Main and will celebrate with a grand opening in June 2011. The newly remodeled pottery studio is open for adult and children’s classes. See Learning Vacations.
The Southern Colorado Repertory Theatre (SCRT) delights audiences during the summer with three plays in repertory. 719-845-8489. See Events.
