Year-Round
Modern-Day Treasure Hunt: Geocaching

Geocaching is available year-round at Trinidad Lake State Park. Visitors can rent a GPS for a small fee. Trinidad Lake State Park, 32610 Highway 12 (3 miles west of Trinidad on the Scenic Highway of Legends). 719-846-6951, parks.state.co.us/parks/trinidadlake.

January 1 (Sun) 10am and 11am
First Day Hike
Start off the New Year with an invigorating walk or hike at Trinidad Lake State Park. Please bring water, snacks, and appropriate clothing. Leashed dogs are welcome. After the hikes, please join us for hot chocolate and backed goods at the visitor center. This event is free, but all vehicles must have a pass.

Rigorous
Starts at 10am. A strenuous 2-3 mile hike on Reilly Canyon Trail will include some hills and descents, along with wildlife viewing opportunities, so bring you camera an binoculars!

Moderate
Starts at 11am. The one-mile Levsa Canyon Trail is a moderately challenging hike as it winds its way through forest and meadow with panoramic views of the lake from the mesa rim.

Navidad Flamenca
A holiday Spanish flamenco performance by Natalia Perez del Villar and her group of exciting musicians and dancers. Tickets are $18 online or in the office at 131 W. Main.
